Apple is reportedly gearing up to unveil its next-generation iPhone 17 series in early September 2025.
According to a recent report by Bloomberg, the tech giant is planning to introduce the new lineup during a launch event scheduled for either September 9 or 10.
As usual, Apple is expected to unveil its new iPhones in September. This year, the company is likely to introduce seven models in the iPhone 17 series, including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
One of the biggest changes will be a major redesign of the rear camera. For the first time since the iPhone 11 in 2020, Apple plans to move away from the traditional square camera bump. Instead, the new camera may look more like the pill-shaped camera bar seen on Google Pixel phones.
There could also be updates to the Dynamic Island design on the front-facing camera. The iPhone 17 series is expected to come with a faster MagSafe charging system and the latest A19 chip for better performance.
One highlight will be the iPhone 17 Air, which is set to be Apple’s thinnest iPhone yet. This new model will replace the iPhone 16 Plus and will likely have a single rear camera—probably a 48-megapixel sensor. The design will be slim and stylish to attract users who care about looks, though its features will be similar to the standard iPhone 17.
