The Color Run race event under the Riyadh season took place on Sunday.

More than twenty thousand men, women and children participated in the race and enjoyed throwing colors at each other.

They ran, jogged and walked while having the added fun of throwing around colored powder.

There were six color zones: Blue, yellow, red, green, orange and pink.

According to organizers, all of the powdered products are 100 percent natural and safe.

Participants get covered with the vibrant colors from head to toe whenever they enter a color zone.

A ticket price worth 50 to 250 Riyals was set to participate in the run race.

The Riyadh event follows the Kingdom’s extremely popular inaugural Color Run which took place in Al-Khobar in March and witnessed over 10,000 people run and walk their way along the 5k course.

The event, held in the Riyadh Boulevard Zone, is the second run in the Kingdom with record figures of 20,000 participants in Riyadh. This is double the attendance in Al-Khobar.
