A Pakistani restaurant in US is a total blessing for the thousands of homeless and poor in the capital.

Sakina Halal Grill is no more than a blessing and not an ordinary place.

It’s a place where regular customers sit side-by-side with the homeless, with no difference between the visitors who pay for their food and those who can’t afford it.

This open-door policy aims to champion the Islamic principles of solidarity and sponsorship.

Kazi Manan, the Pakistani Immigrant owns the restaurant, who himself comes from a poor family left Pakistan in 1996 to search a better opportunity in US.
