Spokeperson for Punjab Government calls Shafaat Ali a Meerasi

After PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif got diagnosed with Corona, his well-wishers started praying for his health and wish a speedy recovery for him. Shafaat Ali did the same.

Who knew that Shafaat’s tweet would catch the attention of Punjab Government’s spokesperson Usman Saeed Basra. In response to Shafaat’s tweet, Basra tried to throw shade at him by calling Shafaat a ‘meerasi”

Fans and celebrities stood for Shafaat and brought Basra under the hot water. Pakistani singer Ali Zafar appealed to take a strict action again Punjab Government’s spokesman.

Zafar wrote,

“Dear Sir @UsmanAKBuzdar….been told he is the official spokesperson for the @GOPunjabPK. Given the office he holds, I leave it up to your kind judgment to decide what the noble thing would be to do.”

Actor Omair Rana also rose his voice against Basra and asked him to apologize.

Twitterites want an apology from Basra as they questioned his behavior as a spokesperson for Punjab Government.
