A group of brides wearing wedding dresses held protests in Rome as their marriages have been postponed due to coronavirus lockdowns.

Lockdown imposed in various countries in the wake of coronavirus pandemic has disrupted daily life schedules and have affected relationships as well!

Around 15 angry brides protested in front of the Trevi fountain. They all were wearing matching white face masks.

They also organized protests outside parliamentary buildings along with other industry businesses affected by lockdown, such as caterers, venue owners, and musicians.

An Italian wedding association held the event. The event was dubbed the ‘flashmob of the singles or unmarried ones’.

Women were seen holding posters having signs translated as ‘weddings without restrictions’, ‘you broke our marriages’ and ‘church doors closed to weddings’ before they marched through the city.

Lockdown measures have been imposed in Italy; all non-essential business and activities such as wedding ceremonies have been banned.

On the other hand, fast-food expert Burger King has made “social-distance crowns” that keep the customers 6 feet away from each other at the restaurants.

Governments have eased lockdown measures and several restaurants and cafes have begun reopening. 

A burger king told to the international news source, “We wanted to reinforce the rules of high safety and hygiene standards that the BK restaurants are following,” 

 “The do-it-yourself social-distance crown was a fun and playful way to remind our guests to practice social distancing while they are enjoying food in the restaurants.”
