An Indian teenager reportedly spent nearly 1.6 million Indian rupee ($21,424.9 US dollars) making in-app purchases and upgrades on the Mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG).

The boy has used the money not only to buy in-app purchases for himself but also to buy upgrades for his teammates.

The media reports revealed that the 17-year-old used three bank accounts to spend a massive amount of money on PUBG Mobile game. However, the spending came to light when his parents accessed bank accounts to review records of transactions.

The teenager also rotated the money from one bank account to another in order not to be caught.

The teenager lied to his parents that he had been studying through cell phone, but in fact, the boy spends hours playing the online game. The PUBG player used to play the game on the cell phone of his mother and erased all messages he received about the bank transactions.
