No money? No problem! A man in Florida purchased a luxury car with a cheque he printed on his home computer.

Casey William Kelley, 42, was arrested last week for purchasing a Porsche and for trying to buy luxury Rolex watches with fake cheques.
Mr. Jelley has been arrested and been taken to the Walton County Jail.

According to Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the man entered a car dealership in Okaloosa County and left in a Porsche. The police department said in a statement, “During the investigation, it was determined Kelley had purchased a Porsche 911 Turbo from a Porsche dealership in Destin by using a fraudulent check written for $139,203.05 on Monday, July 27th”.

The Porsche was considered stolen after the car dealership could not cash the cheque he had given.

Mr. Kelley posed with his ‘newly-purchased’ car and posted the photo on social media.

Sources said that Mr. Kelley went to a jeweler in Miramar Beach after buying the car to buy three Rolex watches with another fake cheque in the amount of $61,521.

However, he failed in his attempt as the jeweler kept the watches so the cheques could be determined. After it failed to determine them, they reported it to Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office said in their statement, “When arrested Wednesday afternoon, Kelley told investigators he printed out the cashier’s checks from his home computer and did not get the cashier’s check from his bank”.
