US President Donald Trump has ignited India through a recent statement. He has described the air in India as ‘filthy’ as he talked about climate change.

During a debate with his rival Joe Biden, he said, “Look at China, how filthy it is. Look at Russia. Look at India. The air is filthy. I walked out of the Paris Accord as we had to take out trillions of dollars and we were treated very unfairly,”

“I will not sacrifice millions of jobs… thousands of companies because of the Paris Accord. It is very unfair.”

The statement went viral and it seems India is finding it difficult to digest it as Trump has triggered its ego!

Indian Congress leader Kapil Sibal barely tolerated it and could not resist defending India. He used Trump’s remarks to take a potshot at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has often called Mr. Trump as “friend”.

On the other hand, British-American journalist Astish Taseer tweeted, “Ab ki bar Trump Sarkar”. (This time Trump’s government).
