A video of a woman beating the traffic police constable in Mumbai has gone viral on social media. However, the Mumbai police have arrested the woman after the video surfaced.

According to the details provided by DCP S Chaitanya, a man was stopped by the traffic police for not wearing a helmet. The traffic police and the man indulged in an argument, when a woman, accompanied by the motorcyclist, attacked the constable.

The DCP said if the alleged woman had an issue or was abused, she could have filed a complaint against the traffic police constable.

The DCP said while expressing his anger that,

“We will not tolerate this type of behavior. Policemen are working hard during the coronavirus pandemic.”

It should be mentioned here that the incident happened near the cotton exchange Naka of Kalbadevi on Friday afternoon and the motorcyclist was stopped at the Eknath Parth by the traffic police constable.

Just as their chalan was cut off, the woman grabbed the constable’s uniform and started to beat him. Her companion began to record the video of the whole horrific incident. The woman accused the constable of abusing her. The case is under investigation for now.
