Sunday morning began with sad news as talented cricket star Babar Azam has been ruled out of New Zealand T20Is after suffering a fracture in his right thumb.

The star has suffered an injury on Sunday morning’s practice session during a throw-down session. He was taken to a local hospital. Karachi Kings captain 

will not be playing 18, 20, and 22 December T20Is in Auckland, Hamilton, and Napier, respectively.

The news proved to be a sad one for all cricket lovers. As cricketer Imam-ul-Haq also had fractured his left thumb a day before Babar’s injury. Imam was also advised to take a 12-day rest.
