Korean Pop band BTS has made another achievement as it has been declared the best-selling artist of 2020 by the IFPI, beating prominent singers Taylor Swift and Drake.

IFPI is an organization that represents the global recorded music industry. According to the international news agency, the title is given according to the worldwide sales, downloads, and streams of an artist or the band.

BTS remained a prominent name in 2020 as it released super hit albums Map of the Soul: 7 and Be.

BTS was formed by the writer and producer Bang Shi Hyuk. Hyuk formerly worked at the K-pop entertainment company JYP. He then formed Big Hit Entertainment and BTS.

The title was given to Taylor Swift last year, she has now secured the second position. On the other hand, Drake, the Weeknd, and Billie Eilish have secured third, fourth, and fifth positions respectively.
