Some travellers are uneasy after an airport employee said that personnel use tape to “keep planes together.”
On Sunday, the runway-employed TikToker posted the video (June 19).

Any other ramp agents notice this frequently, they questioned the audience.

The movie, which has received over 1.8 million views, demonstrates the taping up of a variety of plane pieces, including the wings, body, and engine rims.

The overlay text said, “Point of view: You start to notice all the tape and flex seal that holds planes together.”

However, several said the airport worker was spreading false alarms.

They called “tape” and “flex sealterminology “‘s “misleading” and criticised it.

In one instance, an easyJet passenger was startled to observe a worker wrapping the engine with tape prior to takeoff.
