A TikTok celebrity recently broke the heartbreaking news to one of her fans that her son had been killed the day before his 19th birthday.

The owner of the @shoelover99 TikTok account, Ophelia Nichols, informed her 6.9 million followers that Randon Lee had been shot on Friday.

He was shot at a gas station in Mobile, Alabama, but he was able to drive across the street and into a nearby building, where he died, according to FOX10.

Ophelia cried and said: “He was 18 years old, which is the prime of a person’s life.

And I am aware that they exist in my community. Even if my son is deceased, they are still present.

She also requested assistance from her supporters, saying “Someone must be knowledgeable.

She also remembered one of their final chats.

She uttered: “Around ten o’clock yesterday morning, I called him to let him know I had his birthday money. He was anticipating spending time with his girlfriend and buddies.

“He lived for his family.

“You see other people go through things like this, but it never occurs to you that one day, it may be you.

But to have a person choose to take your child away from you – he had a choice, they had a choice, and they chose to take my son away – that is a choice that was made by that person.

Investigators now have a lead on two people, she added in a later update that she provided in the video’s comments.

I hope they watch this video and realise what they have done to my family, the woman wrote.

The family’s GoFundMe page has received hundreds of messages of support, and the page has raised more than £159,000 ($196,000).

Someone wrote: “I am so sorry that you must experience this. It seems unfair that someone who shines such a bright light for others should have to deal with such a gloomy situation.”

one more said: “I am unable to fathom the suffering you are experiencing. I’m very sorry.”

Another added: “I appreciate you being one of the kindest people on Tik Tok that I have ever encountered. I’m very sad your precious boy was taken away from you.”
