The owner of Animal Party North West, Joe Hilton, said that the wallaby got out of his property by crawling under a fence.

Hilton reported that the wallaby’s was returned to the field safely and that the barrier has been rebuilt to prevent future escapes.

“It’s obviously very unusual for wallabies to be hopping around the village and the support from the community has been overwhelming,” Hilton said on Facebook.
