Chandigarh police sing Bolo Ta Ra Ra about no parking

A video of a Chandigarh cop performing the popular Daler Mehndi song Bolo Ta Ra Ra on a loudspeaker with alternative lyrics to spread awareness about no parking has gone viral on social media, delighting netizens. As he sings, the cop can be seen advising commuters about non-designated parking areas and picking up illegally parked automobiles “As paas vekha meri gaddi kaun lae gaya, khali hath vich chabi reh gai, bolo ta ra ra… Gaddi nu crane lae gai, Bolo Ta Ra Ra.” Gagan Khurana, a Twitter user, shared the video with the description “Punjab police at its best.”

This is not, however, the first time this Chandigarh cop has drawn attention. Daler Mehndi posted a video in 2019 in which he can be heard performing the same song but with slightly modified lyrics to create awareness about the essential traffic advice and direct people to the proper parking location for their automobiles. “I am glad that my music is used by Traffic police to inspire people to follow rules. Happiness Means Daler Mehndi. Celebration Means Daler Mehndi. Thank you for your love and support,” Daler Mehndi remarked while releasing the video in October 2019.

Watch the videos:

“Hahahaha. This is from Chandigarh. This paaji is very famous for singing songs with the same music but different lyrics,” a Twitter user commented.”Gaddi nu crane le gayi, I am dying laughing,” remarked another. “Sir he’s SI Bhupinder Singh of Chandigarh Traffic Police,” said the third. “He should try in music industry. What a gem,” expressed a fourth.
