Brand marketing £115 green denim jacket with sausage roll pocket

What is the one feature you look for in a new jacket? Is it the ideal match? A colour that you really like? Is it the jacket’s inclusion of a sausage roll holder? Probably not, but one designer has created the ideal jacket for you if you want to transport your pastries with style.

The report describes the Mehra jacket as a “shape that can be dressed up or down, looks great with jeans or tailoring, has lots of useful pockets and they are always made from a premium British fabric, which is a nice added bonus.”

According to the description, the owner of the Accrington, Lancashire-based firm has a sense of humour: “The inspiration for this jacket came from a desire to make a denim jacket that wasn’t a ‘denim jacket.’

“Basically, it’s the opposite of what that sweaty bloke on the market stall would wear whilst trying to sell you Icelandic techno CDs for £45.”

“I wanted something unstructured which looked super cool and could be worn year-round.”

Snack hoarding is clearly the name of the game with this great jacket, as it has three front pockets – two on each side at the bottom, and one on the left breast with a divider for a pen, slim cigar or a Pepperami… whatever floats your boat’. Absolute brilliance!

But that’s not all; this jacket has a ‘special sausage roll pocket on the inside of the jacket’, or a phone can be placed there – but we like the sausage roll idea if we’re being honest, just make sure you eat it while it’s still hot!
