Cookie monster bear casually enters bakery to consume sweets
The moment a bear transformed into a real-life cookie monster after stepping inside a bakery to stuff his face with freshly baked biscuits was captured on camera in a hilarious fashion.
At roughly 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, the animal was seen on camera wandering inside Nestle Toll House Cafe by Chip at Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe, California, to steal cookies.
An employee took photos and videos while waiting for cops to come.
Customers were at the shop when the bear walked in, according to sources, but cops successfully chased the bear out.
The story comes just months after a sweet-toothed brown bear broke into a California home and stole a freshly baked chocolate cake.
An unidentified homeowner told, “It looked like somebody in a bear costume. I see my kitchen is kind of destroyed.
“A chocolate cake I made for a barbecue that day was dumped over.”
While the four-legged burglar rummaged in the kitchen for something delicious, the mom and her son went upstairs to hide and dialled 911.
According to the New York Post, it plundered the fridge and clawed up cabinets before devouring avocado, nectarines, and half of the cake.
“I took a peek at it, it was really laying on top of the counter, like how a dog would. It looked at me, like, hey what’s up, man?” Her son told the local broadcaster
When cops came, they scared the bear away by yelling, “Get outta here, bear!” footage shows.
