Christmas is almost approaching, and festivities are in full swing. As is customary at this time of year, people gather to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ by putting on Christmas plays and choir performances. The internet’s attention has been drawn to one of these performances for a humorous reason. The play had young boys and girls costumed appropriately for their roles. However, everything went awry when one of them decided to act uncharacteristically and play with baby Jesus (it was a doll). The video has been shared by Buitengebieden and has received over one million views.

In the now-viral video, a group of children can be seen reenact the account of Jesus Christ’s birth. All of them sat in a circle around Mary and Jesus in the stable. One of them, however, picked up the doll (representing baby Jesus) and began to play with it. When another child saw that the situation was getting out of hand, he retrieved the doll and attempted to return it to its original location. However, this did not quite go according to plan as it led to a minor argument between the children.
