Tourists were left dangling upside-down on a malfunctioning amusement park ride in a horrifying event in China. There is a violent video of the same thing making the rounds on the internet. The ride experienced a technical failure on January 19, which led to the disaster.

Several tourists can be seen stuck on an amusement park ride in Fuyang, in the Chinese province of Anhui, in the viral video that is making the rounds on the internet. For ten minutes, the enormous pendulum ride wasn’t working, and individuals could be seen dangling upside-down.

“Amusement park-goers hung upside down for 10 minutes at the highest point of a giant pendulum ride after it malfunctioned in China’s Fuyang city. Workers had to clamber up to manually fix the ride and theme park officials said the malfunction was caused by a ‘weight issue'” reads the caption of the post.

Workers had to manually fix the ride by going up on it, according to TRT World News. The malfunction, according to the officials, was brought on by a weight problem because more people were there than allowed.

According to local sources, travelers who experienced trauma as a result of the ride malfunction were given refunds and provided assistance with medical expenditures.
