Darth Gator, a huge alligator, caressing a young woman who happens to be a zookeeper, wowed Instagram fans.

Hugging a reptile might not be everyone’s cup of tea, given our phobia of creepy crawlies. However, a video of a keeper at the Lizard Zoo in California receiving a tight, passionate hug from a huge reptile known as Darth Gator has gone viral.

Darth Gator is initially introduced to the audience by the young woman, who claims to have been his companion for his whole life.

While laying beneath the crocodile, the woman said, “When I went to hold him, he said NOPE!”

The gator then moves to the side, urinating, which the woman discovers and exclaims with laughing out loud, “Oh dear lord! What has happened?”

According to the post of Reptile Zoo on Instagram, “Sometimes I hug Darth Gator he is our alligator ambassador did you know that Darth is an invasive species in California where the Zoo is which is why they’re illegal as pets,” the American reptile park’s Instagram photo has received over 1,20,000 likes.

Tlamb37, A user who was shocked to watch the footage, wondered aloud, “Is this a very tamed alligator? I didn’t know that you can be around Gators without them eating you up. I don’t understand. Please respond please please God bless in your line of work.”

Another user, Celebrated Living Daily said, “Gross!!! I think he peed.”
