Watch photos: Two-year-old spotted deer in deep well rescued by forest officials

The two-year-old spotted deer was discovered in a private farm’s open well in Peedampalli village, Coimbatore’s Sulur district.

On Wednesday (March 30), a team of forest officials arrived at the location and used a net to free the deer.

Officials from the Forest Department were able to save a deer that had become trapped inside a deep well near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

The animal appeared to be in good health, and no exterior injuries were discovered. After rescuing the animal, the department released it back into its native habitat.
