Many Indians, particularly in the south, eat masala dosa or rice with side dishes using their fingers. It’s even been suggested that eating with your hands is better for your digestion and blood circulation. Even Indians who normally eat with spoons or forks consume South Indian food with their hands, especially dishes like dosa or uttapam.

The internet was not pleased to watch this food blogger demonstrate how to eat a masala dosa “wrong.”

In the video, she uses a fork to carve a large hole in the centre of the dosa. She then scoops some masala from the hole in the centre and takes up the dosa with her hand. She then eats the dosa after dipping it in chutney and sambar.

Mansi Shiv Rathi, a food blogger, posted a video to her Instagram account ‘_pizzandpie_’ in which she can be seen eating masala dosa at a restaurant. She teasingly captioned the photo, “Sharing my way to eat a masala dosa :P,”
