The video you’re going to see is confirmation of this. Sonal Goel, an IAS official, tweeted a video of a crocodile trying to attack a fawn, but the mother deer saves it. She makes the ultimate sacrifice in order to preserve her child.

A deer is seen swimming across a river when a crocodile spots the prey in the now-viral footage. It dashes at the deer in an attempt to grab it. When the mother deer notices the approaching danger, she steps in to defend her kid. The mother, rather than the fawn, become the crocodile’s victim.

The video is tragic, but it also serves as a reminder of a mother’s unwavering love for her kid. The video was shared on Twitter on April 6 and has already received 111.8k views.

Reads the caption of the video, “No words can describe the power, beauty and heroism of mother’s love. Heartbreaking video of a mother deer sacrificing herself to save her baby. It reminds us to never ignore your parents and family. Respect them and take care of them when it’s your turn (sic).”
