A resident of Los Angeles installed a camera outside his home, which captured footage of a visit by a local mountain lion.

Kevin Prince claimed he saw the cougar strolling around his Hollywood Hills neighbourhood recently and decided to set up a camera to see if it was P-22, a mountain lion that became famous following a viral shot of the creature lighted by the Hollywood sign 10 years ago.

Prince told the media, “I’m from New York. I am used to pizza rat. I am not used to lions at my front door.”

He added, “I’m from the concrete jungle, moving to the literal jungle. This place is crazy.”

The mountain lion walked right up to Prince’s front door, according to his video.

P-22 is the animal in the video, as per the National Parks Service. P-22 spends the majority of his time in the Santa Monica Mountain National Recreation Area, but he has been known to venture out late at night.
