Watch: Girl eats 19 chicken nuggets in 1 minute breaks the world record

Leah Shutkever, a competitive eater from the United Kingdom, broke the Guinness World Record by eating 19 chicken nuggets containing 352g of chicken meat in 60 seconds.

The Guinness Global Records frequently shares such mind-blowing world records. A British woman just established a new GWR for the most chicken nuggets consumed in one minute.

According to the Guinness World Records statement, “Although she ‘only’ managed to eat 19, leaving the record holder disappointed about her performance, she still surpassed Nela’s previous result by 54 grams.”

The 23-year-old became interested in competitive eating after her brother challenged her while they were eating at a neighbouring restaurant, according to the Guinness World Records official website. “After that, she developed a true hunger for shattering goals,” says the author.

As Guinness World Records stated, “Leah set herself some ambitious targets and, after starting her competitive eating training in 2013, she started breaking records in 2019.”

She shattered the previous record, which was set in 2020 by model and competitive eater Nela Zisser, who consumed 298 grammes of nuggets in the same length of time.
