Passenger’s “nasty” flight behavior leaves internet furious
A passenger’s behavior on a trip left him speechless, and other passengers on social media concur.
Paul Stothard, an Emirates passenger, noticed the woman’s feet propped up on the seat in front of him. “The person next to me on my flight,” he tweeted alongside a photo of the woman.

The image shows the female traveler placing her foot on the headrest of the seat in front of him, inches from the head of another traveler while donning a pair of bulky boots.
On June 27, Mr. Paul posted the image. A number of social media users condemned the woman for her behavior as soon as his tweet became public. They concurred that the passenger’s behavior was “appalling” and “nasty.”
To be fair, that would enrage me so much, one person remarked. One more remarked, “Omg, glad I’m not sitting next to her!” Concerning lack of regard for others, third emphasized. Fourth remarked, “If I were in front, I would already be slouching my seat.”
Many people were also surprised that the passenger in front of her didn’t protest; Mr. Paul said that he slept the entire journey. When someone enquired as to whether the crew had spoken, Mr. Paul replied, “Nobody spoke a word.”
Unfortunately, this is not the first time a passenger has come under fire for their behavior. An internet debate about proper aircraft behavior began earlier this month after a video of a woman stepping over other passengers to reach her window seat before takeoff went viral. In the video, the woman was seen stepping over other individuals to reach her window seat.
The other three passengers could have stood up and walked to the aisle if they had been awake, allowing her to pass. Nevertheless, a social media post claims that the woman chose to hop over other passengers for the whole of the seven-hour flight. Internet users were incensed by the incident.
