In Chhattisgarh’s Bhilai district, in the village of Ganiyari, a man climbed a transmission tower after his wife refused to go with him. Notably, a man named Hori Lal went to his in-laws’ house to take his wife with him, but his father-in-law said no. The man was so angry that he climbs up the 75-foot high-tension tower to get his in-laws’ attention.

When the police arrived, they tried to get the man to come down, but he wouldn’t. But when the police told him they would send his wife back, he believed them and climbed down from the tower. After Horilal got down from the tower, police officers in Bhilai took him to the police station. His in-laws were also asked to come to the police station to talk about what happened. At this point, no one knows why Horilal’s father-in-law wouldn’t let him take his daughter with him.

A Twitter account posted the video with the caption,  “The young man had reached the in-laws’ house to pick up his wife, if the in-laws did not send him, then the husband became Dharmendra of Sholay film and climbed on the high tension tower..”

Take a look at the video below:

Eyewitnesses said that the scene reminded them of a famous drunken scene from the blockbuster movie “Sholay” from the 1970s.
