Viral Video: To combat the escalating air pollution, numerous governments have outlawed the sale, purchase, and use of firecrackers until after the holiday of Diwali. Until January 2023, all firecrackers are prohibited in the nation’s capital. Making rangoli, exchanging sweets, lighting diyas and candles, and spending time with loved ones can all be eco-friendly ways to celebrate Diwali.

But this man has devised a clever and entertaining way to celebrate Diwali without setting off fireworks (patakhe). A journalist is seen in the Instagram video asking an Indian man how he celebrates Diwali. The man says that he has an environmentally friendly Diwali. The reporter queries how he celebrates Diwali without setting off fireworks (patakhe).

I don’t burst crackers to impress anyone, the man replies, saying (Hum patakhe fodte nahi, patakha patatey hain). The man’s response was thought-provoking by online users, who flooded the comments area with laughing emojis.
