One woman travels by cleaning homes.

According to South West News Service, dedicated declutterer Auri Katariina, 29, may travel the world by cleaning people’s houses for free.

It began when Katariina organized a single mom’s house. She has 7.8 million TikTok followers after posting cleaning suggestions. According to SWNS, she’s sponsored and generates money from cleaning videos to pay for her travels without costing her clients.

The Finnish cleaning queen writes, “I’m not afraid of filth, the dirt is afraid of me.”

Her cleaning and helping passions made her viral. According to SWNS, she supported a single mom with three kids when her husband died.

I cleaned her house for two days on the weekend. Her kids hugged and thanked me as she cried.

The nicest sensation ever. “I saw the house change and how pleased they were,” she added.

Since then, the Finnish clean freak broadcasts videos of herself scrubbing down a molded shower, cleaning out a crowded kitchen, and knee-deep in aluminium baking trays, bags, frozen dinners, and pantry basics with a Scrub Daddy sponge and pink rubber gloves. She first paid $296 per visit for cleaning products and transport.

She quit her job last summer and cleaned people’s houses full-time with income from cleaning product sponsors and social media posts. She’s cleaning strangers’ houses for two days and sharing her finest cleaning ideas.

She’ll start by clearing surfaces and cleaning hallways. Next, clean stovetops and remove spots with oven cleaning. According to SWNS, she calls limescale “the best stuff ever” for bathrooms and dish soap for toilets. Since more people work from home, she noted, home offices are another challenge.

Dust bunnies? She said microfiber cloth removes 99% “of everything.”

“You don’t need any product,” she told SWNS.

I use a few basic items in all my cleans. Her cleaning supplies include vinegar, dish soap, Scrub Daddy power paste, and oven cleanser.

She told SWNS that she uses a scraper, dish brush (great for microscopic crevices), duster, microfibre cloth, Scrub Daddy sponge, and scourer.

The tidy queen can handle any job, but she remembers spending four days cleaning a woman’s home who was “too depressed to clean” for six years.

I help struggling people take the initial step because they want change. “Many people send me notes after six months or a year showing me their immaculate homes, it’s amazing,” she told SWNS.
