‘Underwater aliens’ praise for shelter as tropical storm is deflected
Locals praise underwater extraterrestrials for sparing their lives when a tropical storm shifted course. After many witnesses spotted nine UFOs in the sky in 1967, locals in Mexico began to believe that a supernatural being was keeping them safe from the dreadful weather occurrence.
In light of the tower’s confirmation of the sightings at the time, it’s no surprise that the sightings have been largely accepted by those in the community who are willing to keep an open mind.
Despite two enormous hurricanes in 1955 and 1966 speeding towards the nearby cities of Madero and Tampico but abruptly shifting direction, neither city has experienced any significant weather occurrences since the alleged alien landing by Miramar Beach.
Now that the locals have put so much faith in the “underwater extra-terrestrials,” they weren’t even worried when they heard that Tropical Storm Karl was headed straight for them last month.
Karl, a tropical storm originally forecast to hit Madero and Tampico, miraculously redirected himself to the Gulf of Mexico.
Not for the first time, either; in 1988, Hurricane Gilbert was forecast to wreak havoc in the region, but instead it slammed the Caribbean and the United States.
Later, in 2005, citizens on Miramar Beach held banners asking for alien protection, which led to Hurricane Katrina being redirected to New Orleans.
In spite of widespread acceptance of the possibility of alien presence, not everyone in the region believes that these aliens are acting out of any sort of genuine affection for us.
Juan Abraham Soto, who claims to have seen UFOs while working in the water, adds that the aliens are more concerned with protecting themselves.
