A buffalo walks by and one of them pounces on it and tries to get it by the neck. The buffalo, however, fights back and tosses the lion with its lethal, sharp horns. While the rest of the pride looks on, the buffalo tosses and hurls the attacking lion many times.

This is what we said in the first paragraph: the strongest would triumph, and while lions are known to hunt buffalos, elephants, and even giraffes, it was not their day.

Sometimes the tables are turned, and the attackers are forced to retreat. Because lions are a force to be reckoned with, they have been on the receiving end of violence and rage from other creatures.

Lions’ greatest strength is their family structure, and because they hunt in groups, their hunting strike rate is excellent and superior to that of solitary hunters in the cat family such as tigers and leopards.
