A pair of dolphins surprised two paddle boaters off the coast of California just seconds after one of them said, “Wouldn’t that be rad if a dolphin came over and jumped?”

Bill Clements, who recorded a video of the encounter on TikTok, said he and friend Justin Kezmoh were out in an inflatable paddleboat near Dana Point when he expressed a desire to see a dolphin up close.

“Wouldn’t that be rad if a dolphin came over and jumped?” According to Clements in the video.

A dolphin appears from the sea seconds later, right adjacent to the boat. A second dolphin quickly joined the aquatic mammal.

“He was listening to us,” Clements says when he sees the dolphins in the video.

“Just call me the dolphin whisperer from now on,” Clements wrote in the video’s description.
