Four kittens in Connecticut were about to be electrocuted when a utility worker performing routine maintenance in a high-voltage area miraculously rescued them. While working in an area with energized lines and transformers, Eversource lineman Branden Collins reported seeing the four cats. He made plans for the cats’ rescue as soon as he saw them.

Eversource posted a video of Collins recounting this occurrence on Facebook. Collin claims he phoned animal control as soon as he saw the kittens. The video also shows individuals catching the cats and donning safety gear to get them to safety.

Eversource commented, “Amp, Watt, Zolt and Ever —these are names given to four kittens that were rescued from a high voltage area in Stamford by our line worker. Thanks to the amazing teamwork from Stamford Police Department CT, Stamford Animal Control & Care Center, and Animal Nation, these little furballs are thriving and will be up for adoption soon!”
