Some of his notable roles include movies like From Dusk Till Dawn, Batman & Robin, Out of Sight, Three Kings, and the Ocean’s series.

George Clooney was born to Nina Bruce, a beauty pageant winner, and Nick Clooney, a TV host. He has Irish, German, and English roots and is even related to President Abraham Lincoln through his mother’s family. Clooney grew up in Kentucky and attended Blessed Sacrament School in Fort Mitchell. Raised as a Roman Catholic, he got involved in political and social activism during his childhood in Kentucky in the 1960s.

In a chat, the famous actor talked about the important lessons his parents taught him. Clooney remembered, “You had to be involved. My mother and father were involved, and we were [taught] it is your civic duty… I remember my father saying, ‘Don’t come back and look me in the eye unless you stand up to [bullies and racists].’ I’m glad to have been raised that way.”

In his early years, the actor from Batman & Robin had a childhood connected to show business. His aunt was a famous singer and actor, known for her role in White Christmas with Bing Crosby. He later decided he wanted to go to Los Angeles to become an actor. In an interview with The Guardian, the Hollywood star mentioned, “When I decided to move to LA to try to become an actor, my dad really went after me. I remember him saying, ‘You’re giving up your education!’” In the interview, he said that as a dad, he didn’t see himself as being in the wrong.

Until now, Clooney is known not only for his acting but also for his philanthropy. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, he gave $1 million for relief efforts. Additionally, he made a substantial donation of $500,000 to the Equal Justice Initiative, which advocates for justice in the wake of George Floyd’s death.
