Sabrina Ionescu, the WNBA star, married NFL player Hroniss Grasu in March 2024. The couple got engaged in January 2023, when Grasu proposed on a rooftop, catching Ionescu completely by surprise.

The two athletes have maintained a relatively private relationship, often supporting each other’s careers. Grasu, drafted by the NFL in 2015, currently plays for the Las Vegas Raiders, while Ionescu has achieved significant milestones, including releasing a signature shoe with Nike and winning the WNBA 3-point contest.

Both attended the University of Oregon and share a Romanian heritage. They went public with their relationship on Instagram in 2021.
