Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll, married since 2017, have called off their divorce just one month after filing. The professional golfer, who filed for divorce on May 13, 2024, announced that he and Stoll decided to stay together.

McIlroy, with over 20 PGA Tour victories and one of three golfers to hold the number one spot on the Official World Golf Ranking for over 100 weeks, has had Stoll by his side throughout his career.

The couple met at the 2012 Ryder Cup and married in 2017, welcoming their daughter Poppy Kennedy in 2020. Stoll, originally from Irondequoit, New York, graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology and worked for the PGA of America.

Their relationship, which began as friends, turned romantic in late 2014 after McIlroy’s split from tennis player Caroline Wozniacki.

McIlroy proposed in Paris in 2015, and they married in a lavish ceremony at Ashford Castle in County Mayo, Ireland. Despite her husband’s fame, Stoll prefers to stay out of the spotlight.
