Kunal Nayyar, known for his role in the Emmy-winning sitcom The Big Bang Theory, married former Miss India Neha Kapur on December 22, 2011.

Their love story began in New Delhi in 2008, and despite Kapur not having seen Nayyar’s show, it was love at first sight for him. The couple’s traditional Indian wedding spanned six days and included 1,000 guests.

Kapur, crowned Miss India in 2006, is also a fashion designer and model. She graduated from New Delhi’s Pearl Academy with a degree in fashion design and launched her luxury fashion brand, Hensely, in 2016.

The couple managed a long-distance relationship initially, with Kapur in New Delhi and Nayyar in Los Angeles, before she moved to the U.S. after their marriage.

The couple made their red carpet debut in 2011 and have maintained a relatively private life. They previously lived in a Spanish-style home in L.A.’s Nichols Canyon, which was later sold through the Oppenheim Group, famous from Netflix’s Selling Sunset.

Kapur continues to be a prominent figure in the fashion industry, and the couple recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, emphasizing their commitment to living life on their own terms.
