Rumors about Newton’s romantic life initially surfaced when fans speculated he might be dating his Bridgerton co-star Nicola Coughlan, after they were seen holding hands at a promotional event in Australia. However, PEOPLE clarified that they are just friends and supportive colleagues.

Roumelioti, known for her performances on shows like Dancing On Ice and her appearance on Greece’s Got Talent, has also shared glimpses of her time with Newton on social media. The two spent time in Los Angeles together in April 2024, where fans noticed they dined at the same café and even had matching Polaroids from the visit.
