Samantha Cope, known for her roles in TV movies and her work as an animal advocate, has filed for divorce from actor Joey Lawrence after two years of marriage.

Cope, who sought a separation in August 2024, cited irreconcilable differences and is seeking full physical custody of their daughter, Dylan Rose. The couple, who wed in May 2022, welcomed Dylan Rose in January 2023.

Lawrence, famed for his roles in Blossom and Melissa & Joey, and Cope met on the set of the Lifetime movie My Husband’s Secret Brother in 2020. They became engaged in August 2021 and married the following year in a ceremony at Temecula Creek Inn in California.

Despite their public display of affection and shared projects, including the Tubi original Frankie Meets Jack, their relationship has faced challenges.
