Originally from Rwanda, Gloria Bugie, real name Gloria Busingye, is a rising star in the Ugandan music scene. With her breakout hit “Nyash,” also known as “Bankyawa,” she has quickly gained fame and captured the attention of music lovers. Her songs, often focusing on relationships and heartbreak, have become popular on social media platforms like TikTok, sparking conversations and challenges. Early Beginnings

Gloria Bugie fell in love with music at a young age. Being the oldest in her family, she started singing in choirs and competitions when she was in elementary school. Producer Eli Arkhis noticed her when she relocated to Uganda for her secondary schooling, and he assisted in launching her career. Her first two releases, “Fire” and “Only You,” in 2019 opened the door for her to work with well-known producers like Daddy Andre in the future.

The video is said to have been captured in a lodge, which sparked widespread online reaction. The singer recently visited a ghetto in Nalukologo to celebrate her birthday and donate educational items to underprivileged children.
