Sana Yousaf, a 17-year-old influencer from Islamabad, was tragically killed last year after being stalked by a man who had followed her on social media. Her case shook the country and once again raised serious questions about women’s safety in Pakistan. Although her killer was arrested and is still on trial, incidents like this continue to happen.

Now, a similar case has come forward involving influencer Samiya Hijab, who was also a close friend of Sana. Samiya was taken by force from her own home, but thankfully, she is safe and has decided not to stay silent.

She spoke out on Instagram, sharing CCTV footage from her house. In the video, she alleged that a man named Hassan Zahid, from Lahore, has been stalking and harassing her. She said he even showed up at her home and dragged her into his car. Samiya also shared his picture and other details about himself.

In her statement, Samiya said she doesn’t want to end up like her friend Sana, and that’s why she is speaking up. She has filed an FIR with Islamabad Police, demanding justice and protection, and is hopeful that the man will be arrested soon.
