Met Department issues rain Alert in Lahore

The Meteorological Met Department of Pakistan issued rain alert in Lahore city of Punjab Province from Monday onward.

According to the details, Lahore expected to receive showers on Monday and Tuesday.

Temperature expected to drop more down after rain.

However, cold weather has made conditions rigid across different cities of Punjab.

On the other hand, The Meteorological department predicted mostly sunny weather in Karachi for the next 24 hour.

The maximum temperature in the city expected to remain in between 11 to 13 degrees centigrade with 50 to 60 per cent humidity.

Dry weather with foggy conditions likely to prevail over upper and central parts, whereas hazy/ misty morning is likely to prevail in lower parts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours.

Met Department also predicted light rain fall on Monday night and Tuesday morning in Karachi.

A westerly wave likely to enter in Balochistan from Iran.

It will a new spell of rainfall in the country, which may drop temperatures further.

Rain is also expected in Sindh’s districts of Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Sukkur, Jacobabad and Shikarpur.

The northeastern winds are blowing with a speed of four kilometres per hour.

Humidity will remain in Karachi between 55-65 per cent in the morning and 25-35 per cent in evening.

In Multan and the surrounding areas, rains increased with the intensity of cold.

Chaman in Balochistan also witnessing rain since last night.

Pleasant changes in Khuzdarweather due to rainfall,  increases the intensity of the cold.

Power supply suspended from all feeders of Khuzdar from 12 am midnight.
