Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country while very hot in Sindh, south Punjab and Balochistan on Saturday (today).

However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in northeast Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltsiatn, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas. Dust raising winds are also expected in Multan, D G Khan, Layyah, Sukkur, Larkana and Shaheed Benazirabad during this period.

Karachi receives a hot weather today as temperature reaches 37 degrees Celsius. Humidity recorded was 73 percent. Temperature can remain from 36 to 38 degrees Celsius till the next two days.

According to the met department, a shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country.

Hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of country, while very hot in central and southern parts in the last 24 hours. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred in Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Yesterday’s Highest Maximum Temperature’s (°C): Dadu, Mohenjodaro 48°C, Sibbi, Jaccobabad and Sh. Banazirabad 46°C.
