Met department predicts rain/wind-thundershowers in upper areas today

Hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country on Sunday. However, rain/wind-thundershowers are expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper/central Punjab, east Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Karachi receives a hot weather today as temperature can reach a maximum of 39 °C. Humidity can be 79%. Temperature can remain from 35 to 37 degrees Celsius till the next two days.

Rain/wind-thundershowers are expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper/central Punjab, east Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Monday. Dust-storm/isolated rain-thundershower is also expected in south Punjab and upper Sindh.

Past 24 hour weather

Hot and humid weather prevailed over most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred in few districts of upper Punjab, upper Sindh, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Yesterday’s Highest Maximum Temperature’s (°C): Turbat 46°C, Nokkundi, Dalbandin, Dadu 44°C, Jacobabad and Mohenjodaro 43°C.
