Third spell of monsoon hits Karachi today

The third spell of monsoon rainfall is likely to hit Karachi from 26th July (today).

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), thunderstorms and gusts of winds before heavy rainfall are predicted in Karachi between July 26 and July 27.

In addition to this, rainfall is expected in other cities of Sindh including Mir Pur Khas, Sanghar, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Thatta, Badin, and Sukkur.

Furthermore, PMD has also forecast heavy rainfall with gusty winds in Islamabad.

Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of Punjab. However, rain-wind-thunderstorm is expected in Narowal, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Lahore, Pothohar region, DG Khan, Layyah, Bhakkar, Multan and Bahawalpur.

Rain-wind-thunderstorm is expected in areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Peshawar, Mardan, Bannu, Kohat, Kurram and Waziristan.

Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of Balochistan. However, rain-thunderstorm is expected in Barkhan, Zhob, Ziarat, Loralai, Musa Khel, Sibbi, Lasbella,Awaran, Khuzdar and adjoining areas.
