Pakistan meteorological department projected thundershowers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper / Central Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Heavy rains are expected in Kashmir, Potohar region and some places in North East Punjab.

The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in different cities of Sindh including Karachi, Hyderabad and Dadu from today. Urban flooding is also feared in Karachi and Hyderabad.

Met department has urged people to stay at home during heavy rains, and those who are on foot, should maintain distance while passing by an electric pole.

The Pakistan meteorological department also predicted rain in Chakwal, Murree, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, Mandi Bahauddin and Hafizabad on Saturday.

Rain with wind and thundershowers is expected in Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba  Tek Singh, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Gujarat and Lahore.

The weather will remain hot and dry in most districts of Balochistan province. However, strong winds and thundershowers are expected in Barkhan, Khuzdar and surrounding areas.

The weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours but it rained in Upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. According to the Met Office forecast about Occupied Kashmir, the weather in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula is expected to be partly cloudy with chances of rain-thunderstorm.

Federal Capital Islamabad and Gilgit Baltistan 20 degree centigrade,

Lahore 24, Karachi 32, Peshawar 25, Quetta 21, Murree 17 and Muzaffarabad 23 degree centigrade.

Temperature recorded this morning, Srinagar 20 degree centigrade, Pulwama and Baramula 21, Jammu 31, Leh 6, Shopian 22  and Anantnag 23  degree centigrade.
