Karachi To Experience Cold Weather Again From Sunday

The Met Office has said that Karachi’s weather will get cold once again as a new weather system will be entering the metropolis from Balochistan on Saturday.

According to the details, the Siberian winds will cool the city with a speed from 22 to above 30 kilometers per hour.

It will also minimize the temperature in the port city as down as four to five degrees Celsius.

The westerly weather system will bring the minimum temperature down to single-digit in Karachi.

As per the details, the cold wave will begin form Sunday and will continue for at least three days.

Earlier on Wednesday (13 January), the metropolis had recorded a minimum temperature of 7.5°C in the morning.

Earlier on Jan 13th, dense fog in the early hours had forced the closure of portions of the Motorway from Lahore to Abdul Hakeem (M3) and from Pindi Bhatian to Gojra (M4) for motorists.

According to the reports, the two motorway sections were closed as visibility over National Highway was only from 10 to 50 meters.
