KARACHI: The meteorological department has once again rang the alarm for heavy rainfall likely to hit the city today.

The weather department has also warned regarding strong winds along with the falls in the city while the temperature is expected to reach 19 degrees Celsius.

The department has said that today the maximum temperature is likely to be recorded at 35 degrees Celsius while the humidity in the air has been recorded at 53%.

The wind is blowing at a speed of 12 kilometers per hour in the city, while the forecast is likely to be partially or completely cloudy today.

Notably, Karachiites enjoyed rain with hailstorms yesterday as various parts of the city received moderate to heavy showers.

The weather turned pleasant after the first fall of the year under the influence of a westerly system that entered the country on March 17 and is likely to cause rains till March 19 (Sunday).
