KARACHI: The metropolitan city received rainfall along with hailstorm that turned the weather pleasant for the citizens.

Orangi, Surjani, New Karachi, North Karachi, Gulistan-e-Jauher, Gulshan-e-Maymar, and Port Qasim areas received rain under the influence of a westerly wave.

Various areas in the city have received heavy rainfall and there is a possibility of falls in other areas of the city till evening.

The spell is likely to continue till March 19.

The Meteorological Department predicted rainfall across country including Karachi this week that is likely to continue till March 19 (Sunday).
