The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts cold and dry weather in Lahore and parts of Punjab from Monday evening to Wednesday.

A westerly wave is affecting northern Pakistan, bringing mainly cold and dry conditions. Murree, Galyat, and surrounding areas may experience partly cloudy weather with potential rain/snowfall. Fog may occur in isolated places in cities like Sialkot, Lahore, and others during morning and night. Lahore’s minimum temperatures are expected to be between 07-09 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Over the last 24 hours, cloudy weather prevailed in most parts of the country, with rain-thunderstorms and snow in isolated places in Sindh, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region, northeast Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan.

Notable rainfall was recorded in various cities. Murree was the coldest with temperatures dropping 03 C below freezing. Lahore recorded a minimum temperature of 07 C with high humidity at 93 per cent in the morning.
